Oriental lamps are as diverse as the Orient itself. Experienced specialists work with their respective favorite materials: During production, they are hammered, punched, sawed, forged, soldered, refined, sewn and painted. This is how Moroccan lamps are created made of brass, which are silver-plated or polished, antiqued or painted to meet different demands. Right next door, the craftsmen manufacture lamps made of forged iron, which in the next step receive artistic inserts made of tanned leather or luminous glass. The effect: Each oriental lamp casts its own light: The recesses in the silver lamps, Brass lamps and iron lanterns create beautiful shadow plays. henna lamps spread a warm, atmospheric light. glass lamps immerse the room in bright colors.
Placement in the room is also crucial for the magical effect: Ceiling lamps scatter their light far, Wall lamps on the vertical surface. Hanging Lamps form a halo of light around themselves or concentrate their light downwards. Floor Lamps illuminate their surroundings upwards and to the sides. In addition to the light source, the shape of the lamp also always plays a role.
