The Menara Moroccan iron chair is anything but ordinary. The backrest construction was pulled down so far that the outer frame supports the seat.
The chair legs repeat the semicircle in an upside down shape. Struts ensure stability and round details in the leg area provide decoration. The backrest also takes up the playful squiggles.
The look of the chair is very modern . Connoisseurs of European furniture will inevitably think of the designs of the Bauhaus school in Weimar and Dessau. However, Menara was created almost 3,000 kilometers further southeast: in a traditional blacksmith shop in Marrakesh/Morocco .
