The cutting boards are made in the traditional way in two types of wood: Mango wood and acacia wood. Slight colour variations are therefore possible. Both variants are antibacterial and therefore easy to care for.
Mango trees are grown on plantations. If the tree no longer bears fruit, the Mango wood in the production of solid wood furniture. The resulting surplus is used to make beautifully grained kitchen utensils such as our wooden boards.
acacia wood (also known as robinia wood) is used especially for the production of outdoor furniture due to its hardness and durability. And, because it wears extremely slowly, of course also for cutting boards.
